What a temporary SMS number does and does not provide

Understand session expiry, one-service selection and the limits of using temporary numbers for future account access.

Temporary access

A new SMScash number is provided for a 20-minute session. It is not permanent ownership of the phone number. A saved session retains the expiry shown in your account.

Choose the right use case

Use a number only for the selected service and an action you are entitled to perform. Do not rely on later access to the same number for recovery or recurring verification. Acceptance is controlled by the external service.

Protect your account

Do not publish SMS codes or credentials. When long-term control of a number is required, a temporary activation is not a substitute for that control.

Browse the real directory, compare connected countries, and read how rewards and holds work before requesting a number.

If the SMS does not arrive

Check the selected service, country and remaining session time. A successful number request does not guarantee that the external service will send an SMS. Contact support with the activation ID and time, never a full SMS code or password.
